Our Mission
Orlando Literary Magazine is the University of Iowa’s first undergraduate literary magazine that focuses on amplifying LGBTQIA+ stories. We accept anything with a queer factor – whether that be the author, the characters, or an artistic theme – and are looking for all different genres, identities, and perspectives. Our primary goal is to provide a space where one can be truly authentic and not worry about any judgment or hatred.
